Born in sunny Southern California, Suzanne was surrounded by the sounds of music. She got her start in music at the age of 5, enrolling in piano lessons, and later taking up the violin. She also took up the viola in eighth grade, and later decided to pursue music as a career. Suzanne received her Bachelor of Music degree in music performance from the University of California- Irvine, and later earned her Master of Music degree, also in performance, at the University of British Columbia. She has performed at festivals and played in many ensembles including the B.C. Chamber Orchestra, the Vancouver Island Symphony, the UBC Symphony, the Burnaby Symphony Orchestra, the Chilliwack Symphony, and was the violist in the Brio String Quartet.

Suzanne enjoys teaching all ages and levels of students; each lesson is carefully tailored to the student. Her students have won awards at local festivals and competitions.  She has taught at several area music schools, and has expertise in many musical genres.
